Last Sunday was the Anniversary services at Northside United Church as no services were held at Cavan. Cavan's anniversary was Oct. 26. Don and Maja Dodds recently attended the commencement exercises at South Huron District High School. Granddaugh- ter Heather Godkin gradu- ated as an honour roll stu- dent and Ontario scholar. She also received the Physi- cal Education Award and the Laurette Siegmen Memorial Scholarship. She is currently attending Wil- frid Laurier University. Congratulations Heather. The front door, flanked by glass panes, opens into a foyer with a coat closet on the left and a storage closet ahead and to the left, just before the L-shaped stairway that leads to the main living floor. Upstairs, the great -room complex occupies the back of the home, with a doorway onto a sundeck that will offer space for relaxing and outdoor meals during the summer months. Both the great room and dining room feature a sloping ceiling. The great room includes a gas fireplace for cozy family gatherings during the winter.
