The maples are first starting to turn colour. At Cavan on Sunday, Rev. Mary was back in the pulpit after attending a pilgrimage in Spain. Doug Schroeder let the Christ Candle. Mary's time with the children was about part of their trip. At one stop, they followed yellow arrows on a wall( at St. James in San Diego. They also took com- munion at a Catholic Mass, which was a sign of changes. Her message was titled, "Walk- ing the Way," which was about their tip to Spain. They started their pilgrimage in France, and found they were not pre- pared as it was a difficult climb of 8 kilometres. After the first day, they found they could send heavy backpacks ahead for a reasonable price. "How often do we carry a Wednesday, October 15, 2014 • Huron Expositor 21 heavier load than neces- sary?" They traveled about 10 to 12 kilometres per day. There were many walkers from all around the world. Peo- ple along the way were helpful and concerned. The sun was too hot to walk in the afternoon, so stores were closed from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. when they reo- pened until 9 p.m. Families go out walking and visiting in the evening. There is a strong family feeling. Communion was observed at Cavan. TO ADVERTISE HERE PLEASE CALL Dawn Johnston or Maxwell Bickford 519-482-3443 CLINTON GLASSE,MIRROR „ • Windows.
