INA MURIEL McGRATH
Peacefully and unexpectedly at St.
Michael's Hospital, Toronto, on Sunday
September 28, 2014 with her daughter in
law Dianne and son Larry by her side. Mrs.
Ina Muriel (Williamson) McGrath of Eg-
mondville in her 86th year. Beloved wife of
the late Michael (Mickey) McGrath. Dearly
loved mother of Bill & Mary Anne McGrath
of London, Jim McGrath of Egmondville,
Larry & Dianne McGrath of Egmondville,
and Dan McGrath of Seaforth. Cherished
and devoted grandma of 13 grandchildren,
and 10 great grandchildren. Dear sister in
law Helen Williamson of Seaforth, and Hel-
en Ahrens of Stratford. Predeceased by her
daughter Mary Anne Smith, and siblings
Olive (Albert) Clarke, Florence (George)
Nesbitt, Evelyn (Lorne) Carter, Olda (Rus-
sell) Jervis, Roy (Kathleen) Williamson,
Norm (Evelyn) Williamson, and Bert
Williamson. Friends were received at the
Falconer Funeral Homes — Clinton Chapel
153 High St., Clinton, on Tuesday from 2-4
& 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service was held at the
Egmondville United Church, Egmondville,
on Wednesday October 1, 2014 with visita-
tion commencing from 12:30 until time of
the funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment St.
Columban Cemetery. As expressions of
sympathy memorial donations to the Eg-
mondville United Church would be greatly

peacefully at Seaforth Community Hospital
on Tuesday, September 30, 2014. Peter
Johannus Swinkels of Seaforth was in his
89th year. Beloved husband of the late
Betty (nee Pepers) Swinkels (2006).
Loving father of Mary Reynolds (Ron) of
Seaforth, Nell Jeffrey (Bob) of Owen
Sound, John Swinkels (Mary) of RR#2
Zurich, Bill Swinkels of Seaforth and Kate
O'Leary-Swinkels (Adrian) of RR#2 Dublin.
Cherished Opa of Brian (Christie), Betty
(Chris), Taylor (Jacqlyn), Madison (Dan),
Ellery (Cohen), Avery, Lainey, Mike, Dana,
Cara; and Great-Opa of Cody, Colin,
Audrey, Simon and McKenna. Dear brother
of Karl, John, Anny, Wilhelmina, Anton,
Riek and brother-in-law of Agnes.
Predeceased by his son Harry Swinkels
(2002); parents Henry and Wilmina (nee
Van Berlo) Swinkels; and siblings Janus,
Goen (Harry) and Nellie (John). Visitation
was held at MCGLYNN FAMILY FUNERAL
HOME, Seaforth, 519-527-1390, on
Thursday, October 2nd from 2-4 and 7-9
p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial was held
at St. James Catholic Church on Friday,
October 3, 2014 at 11 a.m. with Fr. Brian
McColl officiating. Interment took place at
St. Columban Catholic Cemetery and a
reception followed at the Seaforth Legion,
Branch 156. Peter's grandchildren
participated in the Mass as Pallbearers and
Flower Bearers. Memorial donations to the
Heart & Stroke Foundation or Seaforth
Community Hospital would be appreciated

VAN STEELANDT, George - Passed
away peacefully at Spruce Lodge in
Stratford on Thursday, September 18,
2014. George Andre Van Steelandt,
formerly of Dublin was in his 91st year.
Beloved husband of the late Andrea (nee
Theetaert) Van Steelandt. Loving father of
Gilbert and his wife Ricki of Dublin,
Christine Hyde and her husband Ron of
Stratford and Frank and his wife Dorothy of
Blyth. Cherished Grandpa of Tanya Quipp
(Kevin), Karen Buckley (Mike), Achiel
Goossens (Larina), Brian Van Steelandt
(Pam), Debbie Pfohl (Jeff), Rick Van
Steelandt (Allie); and Great -Grandpa of
Colton and Lucas Quipp, Ella and Sophie
Buckley, Alexis, Nathan and Carter
Goossens, Amie, Ben and Cory Van
Steelandt and Jacob and Katelyn Pfohl.
George was the last surviving member of
his immediate family and is predeceased by
parents Eduard and Emma (nee Van Belle)
Van Steelandt; two sisters, five brothers;
and by his son-in-law Achiel Goossens Sr.
(1971). A private graveside service was
held at St. James Catholic Cemetery in
Seaforth, and a Memorial Funeral Mass to
celebrate George's life will be held at St.
James Catholic Church in Seaforth on
Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 11 a.m. with
Fr. Brian McColl officiating. A reception at
the Seaforth and District Community Center
will follow the Mass. Funeral arrangements
are entrusted to McGLYNN FAMILY
