Superior Court Justice Lynne Leitch will give her decision "as soon as pos- sible" after hearing arguments regarding the St. Columban and K2 wind farm projects, one of the biggest in Ontario. Those living close to the projects asked Leitch to stay - or set aside -the renewable energy agree- ments issued in July that would build 159 wind turbines near Seaforth and outside of Goderich. The stay, if granted, would halt construction until a constitutional argument is made before the divisional court start- ing on Nov. 18. The group is arguing there are potential health risks attached to the tur- bines because of low fre- quency sound. Lawyers for the multi -national compa- nies behind the pro- jects say there is no sci- entific proof that the turbines affect human health. seaforthhuronexpositor.com Wednesday, October 1, 2014 • Huron Expositor 3 POLICE BRIEFS Driver identified in fatal collision Kitchener man dies in hos- pital after hit and run MORRIS-TURNBERRY -Huron County OPP have identified the driver and involved vehi- cle from a fatal hit and run that occurred on near Bluevale.
