I wish to thank the Taylor family, Stewart, Lorne and Betty Lou for their help and visits. Also to my own family Irene, Barbara, Brenda, Jen and Ken, thanks to every one of you. To the doctors and nurses of Seaforth Hospital and to the CCAC and support workers, you did excel- lent work. To the paramedics and O.P.P. and support workers for your guidance. Howard David Hackwell of RR#1 Walton was in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Audrey (nee Hulley) Hackwell. Loving father of Dean Hackwell (Kelly) of Cambridge, Pamela Hackwell of Toronto and Patricia Andrades (Edgar) of Whitby. Cherished Grandpa of Sebastian Andrades. Dear brother of Merton Hackwell (Doreen) of RR#4 Walton; uncle of Blaine Hackwell (Merle), Craig Hackwell (Sherri); and great- uncle of Chase, MacKenzie, Aidan and Spencer. Also survived by his brother-in- law Wayne Henry of Surrey, BC; and sisters-in-law Maxine Marks of Seaforth, Marion Hulley of Seaforth and Betty Hulley of Londesborough. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Lilly (nee Elliott) Hackwell; sister Claire Porter -Henry; brother Elliott Hackwell; nephew Jeff Hackwell; and brothers-in-law Eldon, Kenneth and Donald Hulley. Visitation was held at McGLYNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Seaforth, 519-527-1390, on Tuesday, April 29th from 6-9 p.m. A funeral service to celebrate Howard's life was held in the funeral home on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at 2 p.m. Pastor Stephen Hildebrand officiated and a reception was held at Duff's United Church in Walton. Cremation took place following the funeral and interment of Howard's cremated remains will take place in Brussels Cemetery at a later date. Born in Seaforth, daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa (Delaney) Malone. Anne was a part of the LArche Community in Stratford for over 30 years and will be sadly missed by all her LArche family and friends. Loving sister of Frank Malone (Judy) of Kelowna, B.C., Paul Malone (Mary Lou) of Whalen Corners, ON, and Geraldine Baier (Val) of Eckville, Alberta. The former Jean Elliott, beloved wife of the late Charles Mathers who predeceased her in 1980. Cherished mother of Grace and Bill Campbell and Ruth and George Townsend of Seaforth, Rae and Rosemary Mathers of Goderich and Ken and Pat Mathers of Wingham. Mother-in-law of Judy (Bill) Dunnell. Lovingly remembered by eleven grandchildren and twenty-two great- grandchildren. Predeceased by parents James and Margaret (Wightman) Elliott, son Robert (1997), grandson Mark (1995), brother Harold (Muriel) Elliott, and brother-in-law Mel (Janet) Mathers.
