February 9, 2014 weighing 7 lbs. 2 oz. at
West Lincoln Memorial Hospital, Grimsby,
Ontario. Spoiling privileges go to grandpar-
ents Jane and Guus De Man and Ricki and
Gilbert Vansteelandt.

Big brothers Michael and Liam are excited
to announce the early arrival of their little
brother Lucas Ivan Coyne who was born on
January 29, 2014 at London Health Sci-
ences Center weighing 6 lbs. 6 oz. and
measured 19 inches long. Proud parents
are Pat and Cheryl Coyne. Proud grandpar-
ents are Joyce and the late Ross Ribey and
Ken and Mary Coyne.

We the family of the late Evelyn Carter

our relatives, friends and neighbours for the
love and support during our period of loss.
A special thank you for the many financial
donations to our chosen charity, the warm
and comforting words of support provided
by emails, phone calls, and cards and final-
ly the beautiful gifts of flowers and delicious
food. Your kindness and generosity are tru-
ly appreciated. To the Staff of the Mitchell
Nursing Home and the Seaforth Manor, we
thank you for the wonderful care and love
shown while our Mom and Grandma was a
resident. She had some difficult moments,
but the patience and understanding you
provided made the situation easier for both
her and our family. Thank you! We wish to
express our sincere appreciation to the staff
of the McGlynn Family Funeral Home for
their guidance and direction and a warm
thank you to Pastor Steve Hildebrand for
his compassion and words of encourage-
ment. Your support has made these difficult
days much easier. We are also thankful for
the beautiful music Carol Carter provided
during the funeral service. It was truly beau-
tiful and honoured her memory. The
services provided by pallbearers along with
the beautiful flowers contributed by her
granddaughters were very much appreciat-
ed. She loved you all and would be very
proud. Thank you to Northside United
Church for the wonderful lunch they pro-
vided after the service. God bless each of
you. Your thoughtfulness will forever be re-
membered!

The family of the late Doreen Eisler would
like to sincerely thank family, friends and
neighbours for their expressions of sympa-
thy and kindness during the recent loss of a
cherished mother and grandmother. We

Rooyakkers and the staff at the Seaforth
Manor Nursing Home for their excellent
care and compassion during Mom's 10
years at the Manor. Thank you also to

Family Funeral Home for their professional

BLAKE, Michael - Passed away
peacefully with his family by his side on
Monday, March 10, 2014, at Seaforth
Community Hospital. Michael John Blake of
Seaforth passed in his 58th year. Beloved
husband and best friend of Mary (nee
Smith) Blake. Loving father of Ashley Blake
of Scarborough and Adam Blake of
Seaforth. Dear son of Irene (nee
Tomaszewski) Blake of Brussels and the
late John Blake; and son-in-law of Russell
Smith of Seaforth and the late Rita (nee
Ryan) Smith. Also survived by his siblings,
Janet McLean (Doug), Don Blake (Julie),
Fran McCall (Ross), Yvonne McLean
(Glenn), Linda Evans (Steve), Greg Blake
(Marie), Steven Blake (Kathy); and sisters-
in-law, Gloria Marcy (Brian) and Julia Adair
(Chris). Predeceased by his father John,
mother-in-law Rita and his infant brother
Stephen. Visitation was held at McGLYNN
FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Seaforth,
519-527-1390, on Wednesday, March 12th
from 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday, March 13th
from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. (with Parish Prayers
at 9 p.m. Thursday). Funeral Mass of
Christian Burial was held at St. James
Catholic Church, Seaforth, on Friday,
March 14, 2014 at 11 a.m. Fr. Chris
Gillespie officiated and the Pallbearers
were Adam, Don, Greg, Steven and Jim
Blake, and Doug McLean. A reception
followed at the Seaforth Community Centre
and spring interment will take place at St.
James Catholic Cemetery in Seaforth.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial
donations to the Seaforth Community

BENNINGER, Marvin Daniel: The family
announces with sorrow his death at Horne-
payne Community Hospital, Hornepayne,
Ontario, on Friday, March 7, 2014 at the
age of 75 years (formerly of Dublin, Ont.)
Predeceased by his wife Eva. Dearest
father of Michael Benninger, Thunder Bay,
Ont., Dr. Shawn Benninger and his wife
Elise, Victoria B.C., and Catherine Benning-
er, Barrie, Ont. He is survived by brothers
and sister: Donald (Marilyn) Benninger, Pe-
terborough, Ont.; Ben (Mary Lynn)
Benninger, Roseville, Ont.; and Rose Ann
Simonsen, Egmondville, Ont. Marvin was
predeceased by his parents, Ann and Hugh
Benninger, sister and brother-in-law, Patri-
cia and Jim Ouellette; brother-in-law Tom
N. Simonsen and nephew Tom J. Simon-
sen. He will be remembered by many as
the longstanding principal and a teacher at
Holy Name of Jesus Catholic School where
he educated more than one generation of
Hornepayne's youth. Friends were received
for visitation at Holy Name of Jesus Catho-
lic Church on Thursday, March 13, 2014
from 7-9 p.m. The funeral ceremony was
held at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic
Church on Friday, March 14, 2014 at 11
a.m. with Father Jacques Fortin officiating.
Spring interment in Hornepayne Cemetery.

Alliance, Chatham on Friday February 21,
2014. Beloved husband of Susan. Father

and Janet of Seaforth, Ontario. Dear
brother of Gail Matthews. Brother-in-law of
Donald Matthews (Shirley). Son-in-law
of Marion Case (Paul 2007) of Wheatley.
Brother-in-law to Catherine Gordon -Kay
(Robert) and Grace Marchand (Raymond).
Missed by many nieces and nephews.
