The agency is committed to partnering with communities to provide professional child protection services. The Society has an immediate opening for the following part-time (12 month) contract position at our Stratford site: Fund Development Coordinator Under the direct supervision of the Executive Director, this part-time position consisting of 3 days per week will be responsible for the development and implementation of a sustainable fund development program for our agency. The focus of this position will be to create an agency brand and to identify, research, cultivate, solicit and steward new and existing donors in order to increase donated revenue and ensure a strong donor base. Qualifications: • A university degree or diploma in fundraising, marketing media relations or a related field with 5 years proven successful fundraising experience with a non-profit organization. Experience with a Children's Aid Society in a similar capacity is an asset. • A valid driver's license and use of a personal vehicle. • Demonstrated leadership, communication, and management skills. • Proven ability to exercise reasoned independent judgment while adhering to agency practices. • Success meeting annual fund-raising goals. • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills. • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a variety of individuals. • A high level of computer proficiency in MS Office.
