HARBOUR HILL RETIREMENT SUITES IS
SEEKING A COOK FOR THEIR NEW RETIREMENT
COMMUNITY IN GODERICH, ONTARIO.
Position Type: Part-time
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Under the direction of the Culinary Manager is responsible for preparation and
service of meals in accordance with the menu.
2. Ensures compliance with public health guidelines and all other regular
authorities.
3. Responsible for overseeing all aspects of Health and Safety as it relates to
food service staff.
4. Ensures all food has reached and is maintained at proper temperatures prior
to service.
5. Follows the Health and Safety, RHRA and HACCP guidelines and procedures.
6. Collects food samples and takes temperatures as required for each meal.
7. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required:
1. Previous cooking experience required.
2. Food Handlers Safety certificate
3. Knowledge of legislative regulations and policies related to food
service practices.
4. Ability to work in a flexible environment to meet the needs of the residents
including weekend and holiday coverage.
