Cards of Thanks Cards of Thanks DIETZ In ninety nine years Alice touched the lives of many. She loved her family unconditionally and was a faithful member of St. Peter's Church in Brodhagen. She will be missed. Sincere thanks to each of you who took the time to extend your condolences by offering a handshake or hug, making a phone call, mailing a card with a special note, sending flowers or bringing delicious treats to our homes. Thanks also for the kind donations to Ritz Lutheran Villa, St. Peter's Brodhagen and others. A special thank you to Pastor Laura Sauder, for co-ordinating an "Alice" appropriate funeral service. Audrey Vorstenbosch, thank you for filling in at the organ — job well done. To Alice's eldest granddaughter, Kim Finlayson, you delivered an incredible eulogy that captured Grandma's life in a nut shell. Alice's grandchildren were all in attendance; some flying in or driving long distances to be present. Her grandsons acted as pallbearers and her granddaughters as flower bearers. Following the committal, family and friends enjoyed a delicious luncheon provided by the LCW of St. Peter's at the Brodhagen Hall. Thanks ladies, you out did yourselves. Not to be forgotten is Jeff Lockhart. Jeff, you were professional, caring and very thoughtful when we needed your guidance. Thanks as well to Paul and Bruce. Last but not least to the incredible staff at the Ritz Lutheran Villa. To mention names would mean we could omit somebody. Everyone from the health care team, kitchen, janitorial, hair salon and laundry staff, you treated Alice as a welcome member of the Ritz Family. Keep up the good work and thank you. (It's not always easy.) Family, friends and neighbours your kind gestures mean more to us than words can express. THANK YOU ALL!
