Sheldon Pryce is a kid of many
talents, hockey, basketball and
golf to name just a few.
Earlier this month, Pryce
placed third in the Bantam U15
Boys' Championship Qualifier at
the Seaforth Golf club and will
be heading to the Champion-
ships in Ashton, Aug. 6 to 7.

Of the 11 bantam boys to
qualify, Pryce was the sole Sea -
forth representative, tying for
third overall, with a score of 78.
"It's pretty cool and it'll be a
good experience," he said. "I
hope I do well, I'm just going to
have to bring my A -game."
The GAO Conducts champi-
onships in all age categories
for both male and female golf-
ers. Events attract over 4,500
participants annually. Staff and
trained volunteers coordinate
all aspects of more than 100
events, including qualifiers,
held throughout the golf
season.

NOTICE OF NOMINATION FOR OFFICE
MUNICIPAL ELECTION 2014
NOTICE is hereby given to the Municipal Electors of the Municipality of Central Huron
that Nominations for the following offices:
MAYOR 1 elected at large
DEPUTY MAYOR 1 elected at large
COUNCILLOR — EAST WARD 3 to be elected
(East Ward comprised of the former Town of Clinton and Hullett Township in their entirety)
COUNCILLOR — WEST WARD 3 to be elected
(West Ward comprised of the former Goderich Township in its entirety)
may be made by completing and filing in the office of the Clerk, 23 Albert Street,
Clinton, ON, nominations on the prescribed form. Such nomination papers must be
accompanied by the prescribed nomination filing fee of $200.00 for the position of
Mayor and $100.00 for the positions of Deputy Mayor and Councillor. The filing fee is
payable by cash, debit, cheque or money order.
A nomination must be signed by the candidate and may be filed in person or by an agent
during regular business hours, 8:30 a.m. to 4:3 0 p.m. up to September 11, 2014 and on
'Nomination Day' September 12, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Electors are hereby given notice that if a greater number of candidates are certified than
are required to fill the said offices; an election will be held. Voting Day will be Monday,
October 27, 2014. The Municipality of Central Huron will be conducting the 2014
Election by Internet and Telephone Voting.
