Ice storm sweeps
across Ontario
Whitney South Huron Expositor
A thick coating of ice covered every home, car and street
after a fierce ice storm rolled through Ontario on the evening
of Dec. 21. Hundreds of thousands of homes across the
province, including several in Huron East, were left without
power as hydro crews struggled to keep up with damaged
power lines, mostly caused by falling trees branches and
