DALTON: In loving memory of a dear
brother, Kelly, who passed away one year
ago, February 21, 2013.
There is always a face before me,
A voice I would love to hear,
A smile I will always remember,
Of a brother I loved so dear.
Deep in my heart lies a picture,
More precious than silver or gold,
It's a picture of my brother,
Whose memory will never grow old.
- Forever and always missed by Kathy and
Ron Ward
DALTON: In loving memory of a dear uncle
and great uncle, Kelly, who passed away
one year ago, February 21, 2013.
Days of sadness still come o'er us,
Tears in silence often flow,
For memory keeps you ever near us,
Though you died one year ago.
- Forever and always missed by Mike,
Jennifer, Rick, Cameron and Chloe
GEDDES
In loving memory of our mother and grand-
mother, Carole Geddes who passed away
February 22, 1989.
Life is a but a stopping place
A pause in what's to be,
A resting place along the road
To sweet eternity.
Forever remembered by her family.
HABKIRK, Jane: In loving memory of a
dear mother and grandmother who passed
away 10 years ago, February 19, 2004.
Our lives go on without you,
But nothing is the same,
We have to hide our heartache,
When someone speaks your name.
Sad are the hearts that love you,
Silent are the tears that fall,
Living without you is the hardest part of all.
You did so many things for us,
Your heart was so kind and true,
And when we needed someone,
We could always count on you.
The special years will not return,
When we are all together,
But with the love in our hearts,
You walk with us forever.
- Always loved and forever missed, Cori,
Julie, Laurie and families
McGREGOR: In memory of our father and
grandfather, James (Jim) McGregor who
died 25 years ago.
Dad is such a special word,
A word that brings to mind,
A big warm smile, a helping hand,
A way of being kind.
Devotion to the family,
A word of patience too,
"Dad" is such a special word,
because it stands for "You."
- Fondly remembering a great role model.
Stephen, Anne Marie, Luanne and Mitchell
VAN DYK: In loving memory of our dear
Dad, Grandpa & Great Grandpa, Ted Van
Dyk, who passed away suddenly 35 years
ago, on February 16, 1979.
How silently time has slipped away,
Leaving only memories of yesterday,
Of a loved one missed so very dear,
Of happy times when you were here,
Memories grow more precious every day,
In our hearts you are just a thought away.
Remembering & loving you always - Mary,
Marg, Connie, Ken, Ed, Ted, Wilma, Rosie,
Linda, Steve & Families
BEHNKE, Christine - It is with great
sadness we announce the passing of
Christine Magdalen Behnke, at Seaforth
Community Hospital on Wednesday,
January 29, 2014. Diagnosed with lung
cancer over 3 years ago, Christine's
courage, unrelenting sense of humour and
overwhelming concern for others is an
enduring inspiration to those who knew and
loved her. Christine worked hard all her life
doing what she loved and did best - feeding
people. In the final years prior to her illness
she had achieved her life-long dream of
owning and operating a thriving business,
the Seaforth Bakery. During these years as
a successful businesswomen, Christine
also brought new meaning to the phrase
'community citizen'; she worked diligently
for the local food bank, spearheaded
numerous fundraising activities to further
support those in need and was always
available to help. Innately, Christine knew
that our ability to care and love is truly
without limit, readily opening her heart to
those in need of a little TLC. Christine
passed away peacefully surrounded by her
family, in her 58th year. She was born on
November 18, 1956 in Leamington, Ontario,
to Cecil and Agnes Taggart. Christine is
survived by her loving life partner and best
friend Ray Schweitzer; children Jerrod
(Donna), Mackenzie (Pat) and Jesse Ladd
(Niki). She was the proud grandmother of
Emma Sunshine, Savannah, Alysha,
Monte!, Avery, Charlie, Madison, Isabelle
and Evelynn. Also survived by her siblings
John, Larry, Frank, Angus, Mary -Lou and
Carol Ann. Christine was predeceased by
her sister Judy and brother Tom. Cremation
has taken place and memorial visitation will
be held at McGLYNN FAMILY FUNERAL
HOME, Seaforth, 519-527-1390, on Friday,
February 21st from 6:30 to 9 p.m. A
memorial service to celebrate Christine's
life will be held at the funeral home on
Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 11 a.m.
Pastor Stephen Hildebrand will be
officiating the service and a reception will
follow at Egmondville United Church. In lieu
of flowers, memorial donations to the
Seaforth Food Bank would be appreciated
and can be made through the funeral home
or by visiting Christine's memorial at
