Mr. Weiler's Grade 4/5 class at St. James Catholic School
has been hard at work creating displays based on well-
known Canadian cities. The projects, which are set up
along the front hallway, depict several popular landmarks
across the country from coast to coast.
Ashley Whelan chose to create a traditional Haida canoe,
remembering family vacations spent with her grandpa,
aunt and uncle in British Columbia.
Made out of paper mache and cardboard, the project took
around three or four days, and a little help from her mom
and sisters, to complete.
"We had a lot of fun," said Ashley. "Everyone in the class
learned a lot about Canada and the cities and provinces."

With the use of this new turbine there are a
number of benefits to the Project and the
with Northland Power Inc. as agent
community. The new SW -F..3.0413 turbine will
only require 40 turbine locations ID be
constructed. The e era A turbine locations are
ionly being permitted should one or more of the
preferred 40 locations not ba comlrectible due to
unexpected geotec:hnical conlltions or some
other factor(s). This modfcafon is possThile due
to the higher MW output of the Siemens SWT -
3.0 -113 turbine versus the original 5VIIT-2 3-113
turbine. Anoiner benefidel feature i5 'hat the
SWT -3.0-1n turbine which will be operated at
2.48. PAW output will naduce noise. levers at all the
receptor locations as compared to the SWT -2.3-

turbine locations, tower height, and 'blade length
proposed in the otriginal application are not
changing.
