The projects, which are set up along the front hallway, depict several popular landmarks across the country from coast to coast. Ashley Whelan chose to create a traditional Haida canoe, remembering family vacations spent with her grandpa, aunt and uncle in British Columbia. Made out of paper mache and cardboard, the project took around three or four days, and a little help from her mom and sisters, to complete. "We had a lot of fun," said Ashley. "Everyone in the class learned a lot about Canada and the cities and provinces."
