DUFFY
The family of Thomas Duffy would like to
thank everyone for the support we have re-
ceived during a difficult time in our lives.
Your prayers, telephone calls, emails and
visits have assisted us greatly over the past
several months. All of the flower tributes,
donations to charities, mass cards, keep-
sakes and donations in Dad's name meant
a lot to our family and we appreciate every-
thing you have done. We would like to
thank those who came to visit Dad at our
home and in the hospital, as well as his
friends who took him out for excursions
while he was fighting his battle. He always
looked forward to catching up with friends
and reminiscing about some crazy adven-
ture you all got up too. It helped keep his
spirits up. An overwhelming thank you to
the nurses at the Seaforth Community Hos-
pital, Mary Catherine, Pauline, Stacey,
Sarah, Martha, Anne and Bethany, who all
took great care of Dad when he was admit-
ted. We would also like to thank Father
Clare Coleman for coming to see Dad in the
hospital. To the McGlynn Family Funeral
Home staff we would like to thank you for
your guidance, assistance and support. As
well thank you to Father Brian McColl for
presiding over the funeral and thank you to
the St. James Catholic Choir for your beau-
tiful singing at the service. A special thank
you to Cheryl and Mary Paige for their
beautiful rendition of "Wind Beneath My
Wings." The song was perfect in capturing
our Dad. We would like to especially thank
the flower bearers, readers and pallbearers
who were all a special part of Dad's life.
Ava Vandenhengel, Jessica Holman and
Owen Stirling, thank you for doing the offer-
tory gifts at the service. We would like to
thank the CWL ladies who served the
luncheon after the funeral and a special
thanks to Danielle and Andrea Bokkers who
prepared food between the visitations for
our family and for helping clean up during a
very difficult day. To Dad's co-workers and
all our little buddies and their families we
would like to especially thank you for every-
thing you have done for us! We cannot
believe the amount of support we have re-
ceived before and after Dad's passing and
are truly blessed to have each of you in our
lives. Again, thank you everyone! - Mandy,
Jacob and Jenny Duffy
