The team went into the tournament in first place, after going undefeated in regular season play. During the tournament they faced and defeated Ethel (14-2), Lucknow (10-2) and Benmiller (12-3) after receiving a bye to the A Pool of the tournament In the "A' final game, they faced Ben - miller a second time, and were given a real run for their money, but came away with a 5-1 victory. It was a seesaw battle as the teams were closely matched. It was no surprise when the game ended in a tie.
