An excellent paper on the topic,
"Making 'the Most of Christmas for
• Others' ` and Ourselves," iw,as given
by , Mrs. Horace Aitchison. Mrs.. E.
Johnston contributed a piano 'solo,
Misses ,Arlene Jewitt' and Marion
Johnston a vocal duet and Mrs. R.11,
Thompson a reading, all of whish
were much' appreciated and enjoyed,.
as was also a demonstration on "Cho-
colate Dipping!' given by Mrs. Well-
ington Henderson., The prize in the
Candy Contest, "Maple Cream" went
to Mrs. Geo. Andrew. The Roll Call

port the death of Mr. William Irwin
'rho died on Sunday last at the home
of his brother, John Irwin, where he
lied come to stay for the winter. The -
