The play itself proved. quite humor-
ous, with Mr. •Hawthorne having the
leading part which betook quite ably.
The remainder of 'the cast was com-
prised of ,local people . as .follows:

nicely worked into the -entertainment
to provide interesting interludes. .Sole
parts," in quaint oriental, dancing cher'-
uses by a nuinb,er of young ladies and
:nen, were, taken by . Roszella Mullin
and Wilfred Anderson. Other dan-
cing choruses by young hien and wo-
nten'in sport outfits were also enjoy-
ed, solo parts in these being taken by
Mr. Hawthorne and Alex McNay.
Miss Donalda Douglas presided at
the piano throughout both evenings.
Following the entertainment on.'Fri-
day night the children in the nursery;
