death there of Mr.. Hugh Befinett

Hugh Was .born here in 1861,, and has
ery public interest; in Bruce County
•Council he ,was for. a number of
.years a 'leading member, and enjoyed
for One year -1921' ---the highest po-
sition in the gift of that body -the
.wardexishin. He was -largely instru-
mental in having Silverwoods Cream-
ery locate here, he is Vice-president:
of the Lucknow Silverwoods •Corn
panY and, one of tha_directors. He
was long associated; in the manage-
inent of the Methodist Church, and is
member of the official, board Of the
.United Church,, being chairman of the
Finance Committee. In some lines of
