St. Joe's has successful cross-country meet
On one of the coldest and muddiest cross-country meets
in recent memory St. Joseph's Stingers left the competition
spinning their wheels. The Stingers collected two individual
medals and a team championship. Making this one of the
most successful meets in recent memory.
First up the Junior Girls team got the Stingers off to a flying
start. Lyric S collected the first medal of the day capturing a
bronze from 96 runners. Lindsay V 23rd, Alexis E 24th, Syd-
ney M 35th and Alyssa C 51st rounded out the team results.
Next up was the potent Junior Boys and they continued the
momentum with 4 runners in the top 15. Capturing the Sting-
ers second individual medal of the meet was Keenan S with a
silver medal in a field of 122 competitors. With Grayden F
6th, Zachary D 12th, Kameron R 15th, Troy L 22nd, Dean M
29th, Cory J 57th , Brayden T 61st, Lucas P 89th , Adrian H
93rd, Braiden A 98th, Kaleb F 122nd. This team captured
the Junior Boys plaque, something that has not been accom-
plished in quite some time.
Another one of the Stingers top teams lined up next in the
Intermediate Girls category and they didn't disappoint.

The Clinton Radars may have given up two goals
to Goderich in the first period of their November 15
match at the CHCC, but that's where the Pirates'
momentum ended. The Radars scored three unan-
swered goals in the second period before releasing
the hounds on Goderich with seven goals in the
third.
Luke Vick, Tyler Doig and Deryk Whitehead each
scored two, with Tim Burtch, Tyler VanDrunen,
Tyler Elligsen and Jamie Aikin rounding out the
scoreboard with singles. The Radars traveled to
Tavistock Saturday for their second win of the week-
end, 3-2 over the Royals. The wins move Clinton
into second place in the WOAA South division, just
one point ahead of Tavistock.
