South Huron and St. Michael lead the stand- ings. On Wednesday, Dec. 4, the Eagles hosted the Mustangs, leading 2-1 into the final minute. With just three seconds remaining on the clock, Madill managed to tie the game 2-2. CHSS is winless in four games. Wednesday, Dec. 11 will be a Clinton battle of the birds as the Phoenix and Eagles square off at 2 p.m. at the Cen- tral Huron Community Complex. In boys hockey, the Eagles lead the pack with a record of 4-1-0. Central Huron is one out of last place, with 1-4-0, edging out Listowel. St. Anne's lost a 5-3 contest at home against Stratford North- western Dec. 2, while CHSS went 1-4 against South Huron Dec. 4. St. Anne's heads to Stratford Dec. 10, while CHSS hosts Stratford Central at 2p.m. Dec. 11. High scorers were: St. Anne's - Reitsma, 21, Bartz, 10; CHSS - Watterworth, 10. The Phoenix take on St. Marys at home 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11, while St. Anne's hosts South Huron at 4:15 p.m. The CHSS junior girls volleyball team took their first loss of the season in three sets against the Stratford Central Rams Thursday, December 5 at South Huron District High School. The Phoe- nix took two sets over the Panthers to pull out a win in their second game.
