Food for thought
A special fundraiser was held Saturday, November 23 in Clinton, to help victims of Typhoon
Haiyan at the Heartland Community Church. The day was organized by Lilia Hill of Lil's Kitchen,
who was born in the Philippines and has friends that were living in the area struck by the
typhoon. With the help of friends and despite the nasty weather, the dinner was a success,
raising about $4,000 for the relief effort.
