ASHFIELD-COLBORNE-WAWANOSH
— Huron County Ontario Provincial
Police (OPP) officers have arrested and
charged a male and female with crimi-
nal offences after their break and enter
attempt was foiled by a homeowner.
Last night just before 11:30 p.m. Huron
County OPP officers responded to a sin-
gle dwelling residence located on Salt -
ford Road after the homeowner called
police reporting suspects had thrown
an object through a window and were
attempting to break into his home.
The homeowner was able to pre-
vent the pair from entering the home
until such time as police arrived on
scene and were able to locate and
arrest the male suspect at the resi-
dence. The female suspect was
arrested a short distance away.
The male suspect and the vic-
tim sustained minor inju-
ries from the altercation. The
female suspect was uninjured.
As a result of the police investiga-
tion, Huron County OPP has charged
a 24 year old male from Mid-
dlesex Centre. He is charged with
Break, Enter a Dwelling House with
Intent to Commit Indictable Offence,
Assault with a Weapon and Mischief
Under $5,000. He remains in cus-
tody with a court appearance sched-
uled for September 2, 2014 at the
Ontario Court of Justice — Goderich.
Also charged is a 43 year old female
from Goderich. She is charged with
Break, Enter a Dwelling House with
Intent to Commit Indictable Offence
and Assault with a Weapon. She
has been released from custody
with a court appearance sched-
uled for October 20, 2014 at the
Ontario Court of Justice — Goderich.

A CHARMING COACH HOUSE
This attractive two-storey, two-bedroom
coach house features an attractive
veranda with decorative railings and
pilasters that wraps around two sides.
The living area is all on the second floor,
above the three -car garage.
Entry is up a flight of outside stairs to
a sheltered doorway on the side of the
home. Once in the foyer, a coat closet
is located to the left, together with a
cupboard for the stacked washer and
dryer, while the interior stairway leading
