We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to become an integral part of our Field Marketing (Sales) Team. Position Summary: This position will involve securing food grade grower contracts for soybeans and dry beans and the sales and servicing of crop inputs. Regular contact with an established customer base and developing prospects is required to ensure customer satisfaction and to capitalize on opportunities. Must work closely with the Field Marketing Team to achieve annual targets set out and continuously promote food grade production opportunities to continue expansion of the market. Location: This position will be based throughout Huron County. Position Criteria: The success of this position is measured through the candidate's ability to successfully develop and maintain sales and contracting targets. The candidate will be a goal oriented individual with a technical understanding of crop production practices. Must be able to work under minimal supervision and have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills required. A post -secondary degree/diploma in agriculture is required as well as previous experience in sales and/or marketing of crop retail/food grade contracting. CCA designation would be preferred or willing to obtain in the near future.
