Clinton News Record, 2014-10-08, Page 22 News Record • Wednesday, October 8, 2014 Last Wednesday morning DuPont Pioneer, a seed company located just north of Clinton, graciously provided the Central Huron Fire Department with a cheque worth $3,000. The local company has a fund that supports fire safety and feels strongly about giving back to the community. About 80 people attended the event which included various presentations as well as a complimentary buffet lunch. Tara Ostner, The Clinton News Record Acting Fire Chief, Dave Renner, accepted the cheque and explained to the guests how the fire department hopes to use the much appreciated money.
