the radar coaches asked
him to bolster their defense.
Kalen began his coaching
career with the Radars in
the 2006-07 and also was
rehired to steer the club in
the 2009-10 campaign. In
2010 to 2012 he became
coach and general manager
of the Goderich Pirates.
Goderich Native Jim Frit-
zley played 2 seasons with
the Clinton Junior ' c' Mus-
tangs in the early 80's serv-
ing as team captain in his
final year. Jim earned
Rookie Of The Year and
MVP honors along with
leading the stangs in scoring
for both seasons. "Fritz"
received an invitation to
join the St. Mary's Jr. B Lin-
colns the following year but
suffered a career ending
knee injury. Career job
moves allowed him to gain
experiences with many dif-
ferent minor systems across
Ontario. His current coach-
ing philosophy is influenced
by key learning from friends
and presently coach/ GM
Marty Williamson of the
Niagara Ice Dogs.
The Radars are excited to
have Kalen and Jim joining
the club for the promising
2014-15 season ahead.
