Lovingly remembered by Phil and Family Obituaries Obituaries GARRIOCK, Lara - Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday May 8, 2014 at the London Health Sciences Centre, University Campus in her 19th year. Lovingly remembered by her parents Mary and Phil, her brother Alex, sister Maris and special friend Kaitlyn. Survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Lara attended school at St. Joseph's Kingsbridge, St. Joseph's Clinton and St. Anne's Secondary School also in Clinton. Lara had a true love for school and her classmates. Lara was also loved by the people that assisted her each day at school and at home. Lara had a great love for music and sharing time with friends and life on the farm. Visitation took place at the McCALLUM & PALLA FUNERAL HOME, 11 Cambria Road North, Goderich on Wednesday May 14, 2014 from 3 - 7 pm. A Celebration of Lara's life was held at the Dungannon United Church, Dungannon on Thursday May 15, 2014 at 2:00 pm. Donations may be made in Lara's memory to the Ontario Rett Syndrome Association. A Celebration of Life service for Herman Gerrits will be held at the Arm- strong Bible Chapel at 2pm on Tuesday May 20th. Refreshments will follow at the chapel. Herman is survived by his daugh- ters Renee Van Stralaan and her husband Paul, Janine Gerrits, Nicolene Penner and her husband Trevor, and Jessica Gerrits; 7 grandchildren, 7 brothers and 5 sisters, and many nieces and nephews. He was pre- ceded in death by his wife Catherine (nee Hummelman), his parents, one sister and one brother. Prayers and love, encourage- ment and support have been such a blessing to the family during this difficult time. MAYNE (TYNDALL), Karen - passed away peacefully on Sunday May 4, 2014 sur- rounded by her family at Sunnybrook Hospital after a more than four year fight with cancer. Karen will be remembered by her husband Vince, son Ian and daughter- in-law Aisha, son Andrew and girlfriend Beth and son Michael and girlfriend Andrea. Karen is the daughter of Keith and Phyllis Tyndall and sister to Jeffrey, Susan and Wendy. She is predeceased by her older sister, Cheryl. Karen studied nursing at Conestoga College in Guelph and then moved to Toronto in the late 70's to work in a downtown Toronto Hospital. She later studied Sciences at York university and completed a Masters of Education at the University of Central Michigan; all while raising three energetic sons and progress- ing her career to the Director of Quality in Nursing with the Rouge Valley Healthcare System. VANNESTE, David Andrew - - At London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Hospital, London on Thursday, May 8, 2014 David Andrew Vanneste of Port Dover and formerly of Clinton in his 49th year. Beloved husband of Sherri (Lonsbary) Vanneste. Loving father of Brett, Rachel, and Morgan all at home. Survived by his father Marcel Vanneste of Kippen. Dear brother of Linda & David Johnson of Montreal, Brenda & Al Cotton of London, Cathy Vanneste & partner Pat Fougere of London, Diane & Earl Flynn of Stratford, Darcy & Terri Vanneste of Exeter, and brother in law of Lori Lonsbary of Clinton. Also missed by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his mother Simonne Vanneste (2004) and his mother & father in law Barbara Lonsbary (2002) and George Lonsbary (2004). Visitation was held at the FALCONER FUNERAL HOMES - Clinton Chapel, 153 High St. Clinton on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial took place at St. James Roman Catholic Church, Seaforth on Tuesday, May 2014 at 2 p.m. Reverend Father Christopher Gillespie officiated. A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at the Clinton Fish & Game Club starting at 7.p.m. In lieu of flowers donations to the Clinton & District Kinsmen & Kinettes, London Health Sciences Centre - Victoria Hospital, or a Trust for David's Children.
