Jillian Nixon, Bessie Macdonald and Ashley Tugwell took first place in their respective divisions, with Courtney Pryce and Mary Kate Allen taking second place. Wednesday, March 19, 2014 • News Record 7 Local businesses hit the runway with Friday fashion show The Clinton and Central Huron BIA are taking it to the runway this Friday, with a spring fashion show at the UCC Hall at the Central Huron Community Centre. The night will feature something for the home, body and the yard, with a number of local businesses on board. Jessica Carnochan from Marita's Fashion Boutique will be providing the styles for the runway, while Joanne Poleman from Interior Trends will be doing a home decor demonstration. Tricia Renner -Robinson from the Backyard Flower Shop will be getting you ready for spring gardening season. Carnochan noted that despite the weather, there will be some spring in the air with the fashions being shown.
