This position will work from the Education Centre in Seaforth and requires flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends. Requirements: Minimum two year post -secondary education/training in Business, Social Services, Marketing or equivalent program; Experience working in homestay services is considered an asset; • An understanding of other cultures along with a sensitivity for working with international students; • Exemplary organizational, time -management and planning skills; • Strong positive interpersonal, communication skills (speak, read, write, listen) and conflict resolution skills; • Ability to work independently under pressure and with a high level of initiative; and, • Excellent working knowledge of current office software. Duties Include: • Homestay family recruitment and monitoring; • Placement of students; • Student and homestay family support; • Completing associated paperwork and record keeping; and, • Other related responsibilities This employment opportunity is a non-union term position for twelve (12) months commencing immediately, with potential for renewal.
