Then my spirit will begin to
develop wings so eventually it
can take flight, then my true self
that is deep inside of me, the
true person that had emerged
the day I was born and shortly
afterwards was lost can re -sur-
face and be found. I was alone,
afraid, abandoned and not sure
where to turn. I never got the
feeling I had that 'safe place' to
go. Every person on this earth
has the right to be safe and the
right to feel safe. No one was
there to catch me when I lost all
and when I began to let go but I
AM there to catch me now! I
searched for courage and power
and that safe place to bleed and
I found it deep within myself. I
have the answers; consolations
and compassion that I need and
I know now what my heart is
saying...
Trust my power!
Behold I am powerful!
Behold I am adequate!
Behold I now have courage!
To Him, Who Dared
to Touch Me
One year has passed with so
much pain
The day memories flooded my
brain,
It was such a beautiful day in
September
The evil memories I was made
to remember
Of how your touch made
wounds of shame
You made me believe it was
just a game
Immense pain no one will
ever see
A disgusting wound festers
within me
Violent attacks of rage that
you made
You must admit the evil game
that you played
Your twisted desires were
thicker than mud
Your lustful passion for the
princess' blood,
Your desire to steal love from
my little heart,
I trusted and gave it to you
from the start
You threatened me with your
gun
So your filthy secret could not
be undone
By my window I float
overhead
I stared as I lay in my tiny bed
You betrayed and you
deceived all my love,
As I watched your evil deeds
from above
My tiny lungs grasped for air
I screamed there is someone
inhere
"No one!" she said, as she
closed the door
He was beside my bed on the
floor
Your ugly hand buries my
voice
Invisible there was no other
choice
But to lay there like I do not
exist
You threaten me with
clenched fist
Stolen, all must remain
unspoken
Tender heart lay bruised and
broken
You shattered my spirit, you
crushed my soul
I was too young to ever be
whole
You surrounded me with
ugliness
You left me to lay in
repulsiveness
you created, what I have
become
Ugly, dirty, worthless and
dumb
you taught me the power of
your desire
You told me you loved me,
you filthy liar
YOU! Had the power for so
long
You created in me anger so
strong
Because I loved you, don't
you see why?
How could you leave me there
to cry?
