Proud parents Matthew and Valerie Neutel from Goderich, ON chose to have a home- like birth experience at the new clinic located in the Blyth area. After 20 years of being near Londesborough the grow- ing midwifery practice relocated in March 2014. The fully equipped birthing room was added with the intent to give par- ents another option for choice of birth place for low-risk pregnant women. Little Ryder weighed 8lbs 3oz. He went home with a special gift basket donated by the practice in celebration of being the first baby born at the new birth centre. Congratulations and Best Wishes to A young couple just married on Saturday July 19th, Stacey Consitt and Cody Anderson are residing in Varna. A reminder to all, the community is collecting for upcoming weddings Ash- ley Stephenson, Mark Buruma, Dan Keys and Mathew Turner. A big thanks goes out to Brenda Chuter for co-ordinating the Farm Safety Day for Children at the Varna Complex. 146 children were registered and Brenda would like to thank the local sponsors and volunteers whom helped her make it so successful. Brenda is also looking forward to seeing everyone next July. Mark your calendars for the upcom- ing Auction Sale to be held in Varna at the Varna Church Saturday August 2 at 10 am.
