Worship Leader Colin Snyder gave the welcome and announcements followed the Prayer of Approach. Birthday wishes were extended to three young men, Doug Nor- man, Jim Collins and Ross McBeath. Sympathy and prayers were extended to Willa Rathwell and family on the passing of her husband Tom Rathwell. Geraldine Eckel read the Gospel Reading and Mission for Minutes. Colin's Message was "God's Way or Our Ways." Following the service muffins and coffee and fellowship were enjoyed in support of the Sunday school. The Lay Supervision Team meeting will be Monday Feb. 3. The Brucefield Community United Church U.C.W. will meet Tuesday Feb. 4 at 7:30 p.m. The Stan Lee Seniors will meet Wed Feb. 5 at 2 p.m. at the Bluewater Complex. Alan Thomas will lead in Worship Sunday Feb. 9. Brucefield Community United Church Annual Meeting will follow a simple fare luncheon on Sunday Feb. 16. The next Brucefield Odd Fellows card party will be held Thursday Feb. 13 at 7:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome! Crokinole players met last Tuesday Jan. 30 at the Brucefield Community United Church for doubles play. Dave Whyte and Doug McAsh were first with 33pts, close second were Margaret Hayter and Murray Perdue with 31pts, in third place was Steve Lafaive and Joan Beierling with 28pts and fourth place were Bill Stephenson and Steve Shep- herd with 27pts.
