BLUEWATER
Huron County Ontario Pro-
vincial Police (OPP) officers
are investigating the theft of
a 2012 Kubota utility vehicle
stolen from a farm equipment
dealership located on Rodg-
erville Road. The machine
was stolen from the outdoor
sales yard sometime between
November 12 and November
14, 2014.
The stolen utility vehi-
cle is described as a 2012,
RTV 500-A Realtree Hard-
woods camo model valued at
approximately $13,000.
Any person with information
regarding this incident should
immediately contact Huron
OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or
(519) 524-8314.

may be eligible to receive a

SOUTH HURON -
Huron County Ontario Provin-
cial Police (OPP) officers are
currently investigating a theft
of rims and tires that were
stolen this past weekend.
Those responsible attended
Huron Motor Products located
on London Road and pro-
ceeded to steal a complete
set of rims and tires from
a GMC Sierra pickup. The
rims are described as 20"
all -terrain edition aluminum
spoked rims. The truck was
left behind on four cement
blocks.
The approximate value of
the rims and tires is $4,000.
This theft took place some-
time between 4:00 p.m. on
December 6th and 7:00 a.m.
on December 8, 2014.
Any person with information
regarding this incident should

SOUTH HURON —
A 59 year old male driver is
facing charges of Impaired
Driving and Fail to Provide
Breath Sample after police
encountered the driver
attempting to free his stuck
pickup from a steep ditch.
Just before 5:00 p.m. on
December 4, 2014 a Huron
County Ontario Provincial
Police (OPP) officer spotted
a group of people attempt-
ing to pull out a GMC Sierra
pickup truck that went off
the roadway into the south
ditch at the intersection of
Black Bush Line and Credi-
ton Road.
Upon speaking with the
driver police observed signs
the driver had been drink-
ing alcohol to the point his
ability to drive had been
impaired by alcohol. He
was arrested for impaired
driving and upon searching
the vehicle officers located
an open bottle of alcohol.
The driver was subse-
quently transported to the
Exeter OPP Detachment for
breath tests. The driver was
given several opportunities
to provide suitable samples
of his breath to the Intoxi-
lizer Technician however he
failed to do so.
As a result, a 59 year old
male from Ailsa Craig has
been charged with Impaired
Driving and Fail to Provide
Breath Sample. He has a
court appearance sched-
uled for the Ontario Court
of Justice – Exeter on Janu-
ary 29, 2015. He received
an automatic 90 day driv-
er's licence suspension. His
motor vehicle was safely
towed from the ditch and
impounded for seven days.

WAWANOSH —
A 33 year old driver from
Waterloo was recently
caught speeding and in
possession of marihuana.
On November 30, 2014 a
Huron County Ontario Pro-
vincial Police (OPP) officer
was patrolling on Amber -
ley Road near Whitechurch
when encountered an Acura
travelling eastbound at a
high rate of speed. The
officer confirmed his obser-
vations with a RADAR device
and measured the vehicle's
speed ata high of 113 km/h
in a posted 80 km/h zone.
Upon speaking with the
driver the officer noted the
smell of marihuana com-
ing from inside the vehi-
cle. The driver was ques-
tioned about the odour and
he handed over a quantity
of marihuana to the officer.
The drugs were seized and
the driver was charged.
As a result of the traffic
stop, a 33 year old male
from Waterloo has been
charged with Speeding and
Possession of a Controlled
Substance – Marihuana. He
will have to attend court at
the Ontario Court of Jus-
tice – Goderich on January
12, 2015 to answer to the
charges.

WAWANOSH —
A 20 year old driver on his
way into Goderich for dinner
will now have to answer to a
Racing charge in Provincial
court. Shortly after 9:00
p.m. on December 1, 2014
a Huron County Ontario Pro-
vincial Police (OPP) officer
spotted a Dodge Charger
travelling southbound on
Bluewater Veteran's High-
way near Sheppardton Line
at an extremely high rate of
speed. The officer was fol-
lowing behind the speed-
ing vehicle and was able to
confirm the vehicle's speed
with a RADAR device. The
vehicle's speed was locked
at a speed of 151 km/h in a
posted 80 km/h zone.
A traffic stop was completed
and the driver was charged
with Racing a Motor Vehicle.
A 20 year old male from
Amherstburg will have to
attend Provincial Offences
Act Court – Goderich on
January 6, 2015 to answer
to the charge. His motor
vehicle was also impounded
for a seven day period.
BLUEWATER —
A 29 year old female driver
is facing charges of Speed-
ing & Drive Motor Vehi-
cle – Over 80 Milligrams of
Alcohol following a traffic
stop on December 5, 2014.
Just before 8:30 p.m. a
Huron County Ontario Pro-
vincial Police (OPP) officer
observed a black Toyota
Corolla travelling south-
bound on London Road at
a high rate of speed. The
officer measured the vehi-
cle's speed with a RADAR
device and locked the driv-
er's speed at 107 km/h in a
posted 80 km/h zone.
A traffic stop was initiated
and the Corolla was pulled
over just south of Hensall on
London Road. Upon speak-
ing with the female driver
the investigating officer
noted the driver had been
drinking alcohol. A road-
side screening test was
administered and the driver
registered a fail. She was
arrested for Driving a Motor
Vehicle with Over 80 Milli-
grams of Alcohol. She was
transported to the Exeter
OPP Detachment where she
provided two samples of her
breath to a qualified Intoxi-
lizer Technician. Both of
her tests registered over the
legal limit.
As a result, a 29 year old
female from Goderich has
been charged with Drive
Motor Vehicle – Over 80 Mil-
ligrams of Alcohol. She has
a court appearance sched-
uled for the Ontario Court of
Justice – Goderich on Janu-
ary 5, 2015. She received
an automatic 90 day driv-
er's licence suspension
and her motor vehicle was
impounded for seven days.
