Hundreds of people lined Main Street and enjoyed both the festive parade and mild temperatures. New signage shows Salvation Army is ready to help in Clinton Special to The News Record The Salvation Army Com- munity and Family Services office located at 43 Albert St. received some new signage to provide them with a more visi- ble presence in the community. Lieut. July, Hickman encountered a number of individuals who did not realize that The Salvation Army operated a food bank on Albert Street. The Salvation Army is in Clinton to help those members of the community, and sur- rounding communities, who find themselves in need of a little assistance, and it's important that they know we are here. Currently The Salvation Army is giving out Christmas food and toy hampers to clients who have registered with them, and also have a supply of adult winter coats they are giving away to anyone who needs one.
