The Clinton and District Kinsmen and Kinette Club hosted its 19th
annual Santa Claus Parade on Friday evening. Hundreds of people
lined Main Street and enjoyed both the festive parade and mild
temperatures.
New signage shows Salvation
Army is ready to help in Clinton

received some new signage to
provide them with a more visi-
ble presence in the
community.
Lieut. David Hickman said,
"although we have had a con-
sistent physical presence in the
community since our Thrift

of years ago, there were still
people who did not realize that

not realize that The Salvation
Army operated a food bank on
Albert Street.
The Salvation Army is in
Clinton to help those members
of the community, and sur-
rounding communities, who
find themselves in need of
a little assistance, and it's
important that they know we
are here. Currently
The Salvation Army is giving
out Christmas food and toy
hampers to clients who have
registered with them, and also
have a supply of adult winter
coats they are giving away to
anyone who needs one.
The Salvation Army Community and Family Services office at 43
Albert St. in Clinton has some new signage to provide them with
a more visible presence in the community. Lieut. David Hickman
said over the summer he had heard from some people who didn't
realize that the Salvation Army operated a food bank in Clinton.
