The Municipality of Central Huron is now accepting applications for the following position:
One full time Facilities Labourer
(40 hour per week) 4 month contract. This is a union position.
Qualifications:
Duties include providing day to day operational and maintenance services to the Municipal parks,
recreation and facilities. Weekend and Rotating shift work as required. Must have Grade 12 or
equivalent, a valid Driver's License.
Employment to commence immediately. Applicants are asked to submit a detailed resume in confidence

Community Living -Central Huron is dedicated to the full inclusion,
citizenship, individual choice and well-being of individuals with
developmental disabilities to actively participate in the community.
Successful candidates will work as part of a team and be responsible
for assisting people to achieve their personal goals; assisting with
personal care, daily living skills and administering medications.
Experience with suctioning and feeding tubes would be an asset.
Requirements: Ontario Secondary School Diploma/Equivalent;
experience or education in Developmental and/or Human Services;
First Aid and CPR; CPI; valid Ontario driver's licence with access to a
reliable vehicle and proof of two million dollars third party liability.

DUE Date: September 4, 2014 at 4:00pm
Vanastra Lions Club Apartments Inc will evaluate all proposals based on the
following criteria. To ensure consideration for this Request for Proposal, your
proposal should be complete and include all of the following criteria:
➢ Estimates must meet the scope and needs included herein and be presented
in a clear and organized manner
• Clear snow from parking lot and pile in south end of parking lot (to be
discussed in further detail with awarded contractor)
• Clear snow from main entrance and salt/sand as needed
• Salt parking lot, as needed
• Include separate pricing in the event of snow to be removed off site.
• Snow expected to be cleared after 5cm accumulation. In the event of
an excessive snow fall or heavy storm, it is understood that area will be
cleared when safe to do so, no later than 24 hours after snow has ended.
• It is requested that the initial sweep of the parking lot be prior to 6am. It is
understood this may require a return trip within the same business day.
a- Bidders must supply a copy of their WSIB and Insurance Liability (5 million
minimum) certificates upon acceptance of contract.
Contract to be inclusive from November 1, 2014 to March 31, 2015
➢ Any calls pre or post contract to be charged on a per -plow basis for the same
requirements as above. Please include that additional cost.
