In 2010, LHLC received a generous
donation from the estate of Jean Mar-
latt, of Goderich. Jean was a keen sup-
porter of the arts and an avid reader,
who recognized the need for additional
educational opportunities within our
rural communities. In her honour,
LHLC has created an annual bursary to
be awarded to two of its dedicated post-
secondary students.
The 2014 bursary was awarded to
Tina May and Amber Graveley. Tina
lives in Bayfield and is a student in the
Early Childhood Education course
series at LHLC Goderich. Amber
recently completed the Healthcare
Office Assistant program at LHLC's Kin-

cardine. Both of these programs are

nership with Fanshawe College.
