CHRISTENSEN, Erik
Oh my goodness! Where to begin. I want to
begin by saying thank you to my family.
Wayne, Justin, Kim, Brittany, Ryan and of
course Ayden and Maddy. Dads life was
brighter because of you. You each touched
his life in your own special way and he was
proud of each of you more than you know.
To Anne for loving dad and his family for all
these years. My brother Ove for being a
constant by my side, thank you for flying
home at a moments notice. Henry, thanks
for all you do. Rhea and Klaus for always
going above and beyond in every way. My
family in Denmark. Your phone calls, skype
dates and the bouquet were all reminders
of how much family means and how much
you are all missed. Dads one wish is that
we never lose touch with our cousins and to
be proud of our Danish heritage. We will
see you all soon. To all of our friends, fami-
ly and co-workers, thank you for the
delicious food, beautiful flowers, the many
cards, donations to the Alzheimer's Society,
and words of condolence. We are blessed.
Staff at Huronview and Huronlea, making
dads time there memorable and making his
last days comfortable. Jacquie from CCAC,
Jen from Alzheimer's Society, Laurie and
Josie from Huron Hospice, our family ap-
preciated all everyone has done. The
minister, Sandra Cable, for your comforting
service. Chris Smith from Falconer Funeral
Home for the detailed arrangements made.
My sister-in-law Karen for the most fitting
eulogy. You knew dad well and captured
memories of his life not to be forgotten. Our
neighbors and friends on Dinsley Terrace
where dad spent 20+ years putting sweat
and tears into making this a great street to
live. Wayne and I will be planting a tree in
his honor so thank you for your generous
gift. Lorie and Deb, thank you for making all
the food to keep our family fed during dads
last week so I could be with dad and not
have to worry. Keeping me company at
dads bedside will be a gesture I will forever
cherish as well. Dad is now with my mom
and two brothers Bjarne and Keld, his par-
ents and siblings, swinging his hammer,
have a schnapps and raising his glass to all
"SKOL" My dear cousin Tina said it best. It
is time to say goodbye. I never said good-
bye to you. We always said: 1'11 see you. We
never knew, whether we would see each
other again, but we have had a lot of visits,
allot of "I'11 see you'So from all of us in
Denmark and Dinsley Terrace, Clinton:
Goodbye and we will see you.
Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

GRAY Marlyn
October 3, 1937 - August 24, 2013
God saw you getting tired
when a cure was not to be,
He closed his arms around you
and whispered, "come to me".
In tears we saw you sinking,
our hearts were almost broken,
you fought so hard to stay.
But when we saw you sleeping
so peacefully, free from pain,
we would not wish you back
to suffer that again.
So treasure her, Lord, in your garden of
rest, for here on earth she
was one of the best.
So hard to believe it's been a year.
We love and miss you everyday,
Brian, Terry, Becky & Families
