Artistic Director and director of St. Anne's Reel Marion de Vries began the evening by talking about Blyth's 40th Season and gave a brief synopsis of the show. The cast, David Fox, Emily Lukasik and J.D. Nicholsen, then per- formed two scenes and played a selec- tion of the old-time fiddle tunes that are woven throughout the show. Garratt talked about his inspiration for the show and then invited his two sons, Gideon (8) and Gulliver (6), to join him, and all three played their vio- lins entertaining the gathering with a variety of tunes. "The residents enjoyed meeting the actors and having a preview of the play," says Sue LeBeau, Sales & Market- ing Manager at Goderich Place. "The special treat was having the children come and play along with their Dad. The residents are still talking about it today. We are all looking forward to coming to the play.
