My Aunt Kay
I close my eyes as I wipe a tear,
I just keep wishing you were still here.
I will hold all the memories deep in my
heart,
Through these memories will never part.
I close my eyes as I wipe a tear,
I just keep wishing this pain would
disappear.
I didn't get the chance to say my last
good-bye,
I just didn't think you could ever die.
I close my eyes as I wipe a tear,
All of your love I will always hold near.
In my heart and my mind I will never be
alone,
When my time comes...
I will meet you in heaven!
I LOVE AND MISS YOU

Notice of Application for an
tfg VotesIII=_Exem tion from Noise law 21-2005
CONSTPT p Bylaw
'10fJ
To residents of the Municipality of Bluewater, this is to serve as a notice that
i. The Bluewater Wind Project Facility located at:
38369 Centennial Road,
Zurich Ontario,
NOM 2T0
Herein would like to request an exemption from the Bluewater Noise Bylaw 21-2005 at the
Bluewater Council meeting.
ii. Due to various source of noise that may arise from construction activities in the Bluewater
area including but not limited to the use of:
• Operation of Equipment: The sounds generated from running of crane engines, generators,
pumps, heaters, mixers, mobile lighting equipment, excavators, loaders, bulldozers, fork
lifts and etc used on our construction sites.
• Horn — Siren — Bell: The sound of horns and back-up alarms systems in trucks, cranes,
forklifts and etc being operated on our sites.
• Verbal sounds from working crews.
• Lights: lighting from mobile lighting equipment, work lamps, vehicles headlights and
beacon lights.
iii. The exemption is being sought from the following sections of the noise Bylaw 21-2005:
• Section 2.3 Horn -Siren -Bell: The sounding of any siren, horn, bell or signal device
• Section 2.5 Construction Excavation: Any noise arising between 8PM and 7AM from any
excavation or construction work.
• Section 2.9 Shouting Verbal Sounds
• Section 2.12 Power Equipment: Noise/sounds originating from the operation of any noise
generating tool or device is prohibited
iv. The exemption is being sought from Thursday May 1, 2014 to Sunday August 31, 2014
v. Reasons behind the request for exemption:
Borea Construction is requesting an exemption from the Noise Bylaw in an effort to provide
the safest working conditions to assembly crews. It is important that work is completed in
the lowest wind speeds to not only guarantee the safety of workers but to also ensure the
safe operation of critical equipment. Lifting turbine components and operating equipment
such as cranes in high wind speeds jeopardizes the safety of the workers.
Historical wind speed data from the Bluewater/St Joseph region for May -August indicate
that wind speeds decrease after sunset and begin to increase after sunrise [See Link Below].
Hence, wind speeds are generally lower during the night than in daytime. A noise bylaw
exemption would give Borea Construction the ability to analyse wind forecast and make the
necessary adjustments to the schedule in order to work when wind speeds are safest.
The safe installation of the turbine components is limited to particular wind speeds and hav
ing the ability to work through the restricted hours will allow assembly crews to start earlier
or stay later to finish a task that may have been delayed due to unforeseen circumstances or
wind forecasts.
