Santa's house is brown David "I saw Santa's house and it's white because that's a Christmas colour, with red. The house is 15 -feet tall because it has to be a big house for all of Santa's visitors." Orion "I think Santa's house looks like gingerbread because Santa lives on Candy Cane Lane. It's super big to hold all the presents" Tyson "Santa's house is red and gray because gray is Santa's beard colour and red is his suit. His house can really fly. I don't know why, but it can." Terri -Lynn Shades of brown Whether it's made of wood or gingerbread, the students in Mrs. Jamieson's Grade 1B class at Maitland River Elementary School seem to think that Santa's house is brown. (Denny Scott photo) When it comes to Santa's abode and workspace, the Grade 1B class at Maitland River Elementary School feels that there is a definite brown theme to the site, however that could be due to being built of wood or gingerbread. "There is gingerbread instead of wood at Santa's house. The house is made of candy canes, chocolate chips on the roof, gum drops over the window and ice cream and frozen yogurt on the roof on top of the chocolate chips" Micah "Santa's house is red and sparkly with clear windows. On the inside there are tables and tools to make toys" Spencer "I think that Santa's house is probably red because most of his clothes are red. It's very big because he lives there and has a workshop and needs space for the elves, the reindeer and Mrs. Claus" Aubree "There is a barn at the North Pole and that's Santa's home. It looks like a barn because it's made out of wood. It's brown. He decorates with all the kinds of decorations he can find. The Christmas lights are rainbow -coloured there" Kaleigh "Santa's house looks brown because it is made with wood. The roof is brown. It's all made of wood because wood is warm and Santa lives in a very cold place" Evelynn "I think that Santa lives in a small house because there aren't too many people there, just Mr. and Mrs. Claus. It's a brown house made of wood and the reindeer like wood so they stay there." Alivia "Santa lives in a gingerbread house because he lives on Candy Cane Lane. The house is all made of candy and food because it has to be on Candy Cane Lane." Maxim "I think that Santa's house is brown because he doesn't have time to paint it because he spends so much time flying." Enna "There is a lot of snow around Santa's house, but he lives in a cabin, so you can see the wood at his house and it's brown. He puts out Christmas lights and candy cane decorations for Christmas." Ryder "I think that Santa's house would look a little bit like my house. My family's house has the same spaces, but it's dirty and different because the elves keep Santa's house clean." Corrynn "Santa's house has lots of shelves that have toys on them on the inside of the house. On the outside you can see what he flies and where the reindeer are. I hope I guessed his house right so he can give me a Nintendo Swtch for Christmas." William "If I went to Santa's house, I bet it would be all wooden and sparkly. It's made of wood because that's the best thing to make it out of. Metal is stronger, but Santa wants it made of wood." Kyler "I think Santa's house is white and red because those are Santa's colours. It also has Christmas - coloured lights and the house is made of bricks because bricks are strong." Harper "Santa's house is brown. It's made of gingerbread, but it's really, really big because Santa has to live with his wife, the elves and the reindeer." Sadie "I think Santa's house is gray because it's a real place. He has a Christmas tree outside that can hold more decorations." Cohen "Santa's house is red and green because it's Christmas colours. It has to be really, really big to fit Santa, the elves as well and the reindeer."
