The Citizen
After a successful first year, the
annual Nativity display at Melville
Presbyterian Church in Brussels
continues to grow.
The second iteration of the event
brought in 159 nativities, nearly 60
more than last year according to
Rev. Charmila Ireland.
She explained that in 2016 there
were approximately 100 entries.
Ireland added that this year's
nativities were brought in from
Wingham, Molesworth, Brussels,
Blyth and all points in between.
The event brought in 88 visitors
and raised $460 for the Brussels
Ministerial Compassion Fund.
