McNEIL. A Historic Memory –
Thanks goes out to Jim Bosman and
Dave Wheeler for a brave and epic
ride on my 1928 Model A ford
parade car. We drove from Brussels
to Walton IPM; Bob Richmond for
sponsoring gas money; Sholdice
Insurance for coverage at IPM; the
special privilege to drive Mr. Jack
Ryan, Matt Cardiff and Brian
Schlosser from the Brussels Fall Fair
tent around the grounds at the 100th
IPM. My Model A Ford parade car
that I drove in its first fall fair parade
in 1959 is still going some how.
Thanks guys! – Don McNeil. 43-1p
VODDEN. I want to thank the
members of the North Huron Fire
Department and the Huron County
Paramedics who responded to my
medical emergency recently. Janis
and I were impressed with their
professionalism and the manner in
which these two groups worked
together. I must also comment on the
many friends and neighbours for
their kind offers of help and concern.
We have a great community. – Brock
