Quilts, knitting make fair one to remember
A good showing
Just like in any other year, the quilt and knitting displays at the Brussels Fall Fair were certainly
an attraction to behold. This year, however, the fair was held at the International Plowing
Match. While the move wasn't without its challenges, it certainly paid off as tens of thousands
took in the fair this year. (Shawn Loughlin photo)

Leaving his mark
Brian Schlosser, long-time secretary of the Brussels
Agricultural Society, asked patrons of the Brussels Fall Fair
to sign his barn quilt, Norah's Pinwheel, during their time at
the fair. Thousands put their names to the quilt, which will
now be re -sealed and placed back on his home farm barn.
