Blyth 140th Committee Chair Crystal Taylor filled the Blyth Business Improvement Area (BIA) executive in on the plans for the event during the BIA's July 5 meeting. Taylor reiterated information that was provided by a fellow committee member to The Citizen last week, saying that due to a double -booking, the band that had been secured for the evening of July 29 for a dance was now unavailable that night. Friday evening the Huron County Health Unit will be hosting a family - friendly, smoke-free movie night at the Blyth Lions Park (inclement weather will result in a venue change to the Blyth Community Centre).
