HURON FIRE PREVENTION OFFICER
The Municipality requires a part-time Fire Prevention Officer to play a
key role in promoting fire and life safety in the community through
prevention and inspections.
The successful applicant will require a knowledge of modern
firefighting, prevention and training methods, health and safety
regulations, Municipal by-laws and provincial statutes related to fire
safety and fire prevention, NFPA regulations, and the principles,
techniques, codes, accepted practices and materials used for building
construction.
This is an hourly paid position with a 8 hour work week. For more
