4-H Rolling Stones continue to learn, play curling
BY AUSTIN BIEMAN
The fifth meeting of the
Wawanosh Rolling Stones was held
at the Wingham Golf and Curling
Club on March 6. First, Brooklyn
Hendricks opened the meeting with
the 4-H pledge. Next, members did
roll call which was, "What is a
counter in the game of curling?"
Jessalyn Hendricks then gave the
meeting minutes from the fourth
meeting. Then the members received
a cover design for their books. The
club went over some of the basic
curling rules.
Afterward, the club headed onto
the ice and played a game of curling.
Emily Bieman closed the meeting
with the 4-H motto.
The club enjoyed snacks provided
by Brooklyn and Jessalyn
Hendricks.
The next meeting is March 20 at
the Wingham Golf and Curling
Club.
