Incumbent Councillor Trevor
Bazinet has also filed to retain his
councillor position. Newcomer Phil
Neill has also put his name forward
to be a councillor.
Current Councillor Glen McNeil
has filed papers to become the reeve
for Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh
and incumbent Deputy -Reeve Roger
Watt is hoping to return to his
position again this fall.
Murray Curran and Anita
Snobelen have both filed for the two
at -large councillor positions.
Incumbent Jennifer Miltenburg
has put her name forward to be an
Ashfield Ward councillor and
incumbent Bill Vanstone is running
for the Colborne Ward councillor
seat, while incumbents Paul
Bollinger and Wayne Forster are
both running for one Wawanosh
Ward councillor position.
Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh
Council has changed its structure
ahead of this fall's election to one
reeve, one deputy -reeve, one
representative from each of the three
wards and two at -large councillors.
On the school board front, Colleen
Schenk is running again to be the
North Huron area's Avon Maitland
District School Board trustee, while
Robert Hunking has filed to become
the Central East Huron trustee for
the school board.
Al Sygrove and Colin Ralph
Carmichael have both filed to be the
next Avon Maitland District School
Board representative for the
Goderich region, while Jim McDade
has put his name forward to be the
Goderich-area representative on the
Huron -Perth Catholic District
School Board.
Amy Cronin of Bluevale has let
her name stand for the Huron -Perth
trustee position for the Huron -Perth
Roman Catholic Separate School
Board.
Denis Trudel of London has filed
to become the French Separate
School board trustee.
Nominations for the election close
on July 27 at 2 p.m. and the election
is set for Monday, Oct. 22.

final list of candidates for this fall's
election just after nominations close
that afternoon.
