The Scat+,i Concert.
The annual Soot 'sit concert, under
the anspioes of Ca p Caledonia, Sons
of Scotland, held;, Friday evening last
was very largely at ended and proved to
be one of the best muerte ever given
by the local damp ..f the Sons of Scot-
land. Mr. Harold . 'Artie, who is always
a favorite with a Wingham audienoe,
was the leader. H • voice was in beet
condition and his beautiful singing
evoked rounds of a planes. His render-
ing of "The Highly dman'a Toast" and
"The March of the ameron Men" were
particularly pleasin to the Scotob pec.
plc present. Miss Jean Robb made her
first appearance before a Wingham
audience and she delighted her hearers.
Mies Robb is an e toellent singer, but
her elocution numb +re were the most
pleasing to the audience. She is "real"
Scotch and will alwesya be welcome in
Wingham. Harry MacDonald as a
comic to good, and h a different numbers
were well reoeived. His different cos-
tumes were new to a Wingham audience
and the people were yell pleased. The
piping and dancing by piper McDonald
and his daughters Misses Mabel, Flora
and Verna MoDonald is the best that
we have ever seen at Scottish concert.
The dancing by the th ee young ladies
was a credit 10 the to n of Wingham,
Miss Verna doing a tra well in the
Sailor's Hornpipe. fes E. Estelle
