DORIS (McCREIGHT, BOAK, WILCOX)
KITELEY
Sandra Sowerby, Bill Boak, Brent Boak,
Perry Boak and families sincerely thank
everyone who provided care and support
for mom and our family during recent diffi-
cult times. We experienced what a great
community this is and our hearts have been
filled. Special thanks to Doris' loyal friends,
staff at Goderich Place Retirement, Doctors
Stan & Kim Spacek and staff at Goderich
hospital and Chris Garnier and staff at
McCallum & Palla Funeral Home. The fu-
neral service and healing support of Rev
Bill Vanderstelt and Knox Presbyterian, and
the welcoming luncheon by the Legion La-
dies Auxiliary, Branch 109 will always be
treasured. Thank you to family, friends and
neighbours for food, calls, hugs, cards, me-
morial tributes, prayers, flowers and
generous donations to charities. Your pres-
ence at the visitations and funeral brought
us strength and we are appreciative. Our
mom worked many happy years a Victoria
& Grey/National Trust, we are proud of all
she accomplished. She had a connection
with butterflies and said that as a child she
would sit quietly among the trees in the or-
chard of their farm near Ripley, Ontario and
watch for them. In recent years she spent
hours on her deck on Martha Street, saying
she was waiting for butterfly visits. Although
the author us unknown to us, these words
take on new meaning...A butterfly lands
near us, for a brief moment, it's beauty be-
longs to our world... but then it flies on, and
though we wish it could have stayed, we
feel so lucky to have seen it. Peace Love
and on the wings of Hope, we thank you.
