NOTICE TO RATEPAYERS
SECOND INSTALLMENT OF 2013 FINAL TAX LEVY I5 DUE
The second installment of the 2013 Final tax levy is due on Monday, December
2, 2013. Taxes may be paid through pre -authorized payment, telephone/internet
banking, mailed to or at the Municipal Office, 21 Queen St., Ripley, between
8:30 a.m. & 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
For your convenience, interac as well as post dated cheques are accepted at
the office. There is also an after hours drop box located at the front of the office.
Taxes not paid by the due date are subject to interest charges of
1.25% per month. Please ensure your payment is received in the office by the
due date. When making payment through Telephone/Internet banking & Teller/
ABM payments please allow two (2) business days for payment to be received
in the municipal office.
FAILURE TO RECEIVE A TAX BILL DOES NOT RELIEVE THE TAXPAYER
FROM THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR PAYMENT NOR THE LIABILITY OF
PENALTY CHARGES FOR LATE PAYMENT.
Any ratepayer who has not received a tax notice is advised to
contact the Township of Huron -Kinloss Municipal Office at
(519) 395-3735 as soon as possible.
NOTICE OF PUBLICATION OF FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
Pursuant to Section 295(1), Municipal Act, S.O. 2001,
notice is hereby given that the audited financial statements
for the year 2012 for the Township of Huron -Kinloss
are available on the Township's website www.huronkinloss.com
A copy shall be made available, at no cost, to any taxpayer
or resident of the municipality upon request.

TAXES DUE RE
The final installment of the 2013 tax levy is due on
November 29, 2013 Tax payments must be received at the
municipal office by the due date. Tax payments can be made
in person at the municipal office, by regular mail, or at the
CIBC Goderich branch only. Interac/debit card services are
accepted at the office as well as post-dated cheques for
your convenience. Telephone/internet banking is available
through most major banking institutions. Pre -authorized
payment is available by completing a form from the office
and providing a VOID cheque. After hour payments may be
left in the letter slot located at the front door.
Taxes not paid by the due date are subject to interest of
1.25% per month. Failure to receive a tax notice does not
relieve the taxpayer from responsibility for payment nor the
liability of penalty charges for late payment.

GREEN, Newton - of Lucknow, died
suddenly as a result of a motor vehicle
accident November 11, 2013 in Barrie at
the age of 18. He was the beloved son of
Ron & Anita Elliott of Lucknow. Dear
brother of Richard and partner Delanie
Cortez of Manitoba, Rachel of Lucknow and
her boyfriend Kris Little, and Charles of
Lucknow. He was the proud uncle of Nolan.
Also survived by his birth mother Tammy
Green, of Kitchener and his sister Starr
Green of Mildmay. Newton was a friendly,
talkative guy who chatted with everyone he
helped during his years of work at Hamilton
Fuels. He enjoyed his recent employment
at Three Creeks restaurant, where he was
exploring his passion for cooking. He was
pursuing his studies in Culinary Arts at
Georgian College Barrie. Visitation was
held at MACKENZIE & MCCREATH
FUNERAL HOME, Lucknow on November
15, 2013 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The Funeral
Service was conducted from the Lucknow
Presbyterian Church on November 16,
2013 at 11 AM. Rev. Peggy Kinsman
officiated. Interment at Greenhill Cemetery.

HAZELDEN, Gladys D. - Beloved wife
of the late Lester Hazelden passed away at
Wingham & District Hospital on Saturday
November 9, 2013 at age 92. She was born
in Toronto on June 4, 1921 to the late Violet
M. Mallett and Henry V. Penrose. Dear
Mother of Donna L. Hazelden of Lucknow.
Also greatly missed by son-in-law Robert
Peck of Lucknow, granddaughter Amanda
(Graham) Kerr of Mildmay, grandson Daniel
Evans of Lucknow, great grandchildren
Mackenzie & Mikayla Kerr, sisters Lillian
Swance of Toronto and Muriel Fox of
Minden and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her daughter Diana Lynn
Peck and sister Eva Swance. A Memorial
Service was held at the St. Peter's Anglican
Church, Lucknow on Thursday November
14, 2013 at 2 PM with Pastor Perry Chuipka
officiating. Interment Greenhill Cemetery,
Lucknow. Donations to the charity of your
choice were greatly appreciated as

MacDOUGALL, John G. - of Lucknow,
beloved son of the late Edith MacDougall
Cox passed away at his residence on
Tuesday November 12, 2013 at age 51. He
is survived by brothers Stephen (Josie)
Schneider of Saskatoon and Charles
(Kendell) Gay of Calabogie, sisters
Samantha (Alvin) Lyman and Veronica
Schneider both of Arnprior and several
nieces and nephews. Predeceased by
brother Brian MacDougall, sister Gisela
Schneider, father Charles Gay and step-
mother Doreen Gay. Cremation has taken
place with interment at South Kinloss
Cemetery, Lucknow at a later date.
