The funds will provide ACW with opportunities to undertake a range of community based initiatives. • Construction and business opportunities — Over 1,000 workers from across southwestern Ontario will be involved in the manufacturing and assembly of the wind turbines and site construction. Additionally, locally sourced materials will be needed for the construction of the Project. • Jobs — Once in operation, the Project will create approximately 20 permanent full-time jobs, generating about$1.5 million of employment income annually. When the Project is operating, K2 Wind will inject between $5 and $6 million in direct spending into the local economy each year. To learn more visit www.K2Wind.ca.
